Plateau Living Magazine Cover Shoot...what you didn't see!
So excited to share the first look at our Plateau Living Magazine Cover Shoot featuring the Riskin Family! We photographed this awesome family for the August cover on a beautiful sunny day at their Sammamish home and while the magazine had a few of my favorites... it's so fun to share more images that didn't make it into the pages.
On many occasions I have described family portraits as controlled chaos but it was taken to the next level when we added the Riskin's dog, cat, bunny and chickens to the mix! (at one point, Quincy their dog did make a well-timed play for the chicken -- swing and a miss though...swing and a miss. On the cover shot here, you can see him contemplating taking another go at it!)
Also loved the impromptu peek-a-book of daughter Ruby getting a photo bomb from her kitty during her portrait -- proving once again that anytime is playtime when you are a cat!
