Wishing you a season of simple joys! The Clark Family

Awe… that magical time of year when I force my kids and spouse to show up and wear the clothes that I select without complaining. Cheers to traditions! Big thank you Makayla, Studio B lead photographer and magician for capturing our Clark Family madness and making it look like we do this effortlessly (we don’t by the way… it’s backbends and cartwheels for every family isn’t it?)

This year I decided to keep it cozy in the studio. Now that my girls are out of braces I’m ready to update our living room wall with a new family portrait so I selected a color palette that would complement our home.. warm, neutrals for the win.

The babies that are not babies any more. (Age 17, 15 and 8 Wowzer… when did that happen.)

I adore a close up but I always style the family from head to toe — that way no matter what we capture… everyone is camera ready. And speaking of camera-ready… shout out to our Studio B style team for helping me and the girls get glam before our session with gorgeous hair & makeup. (Even young Wesley sat and got his curled coifed (I thought I’d have trouble getting him to do a little Essentials For Him styling but to my surprise… he jumped right in the chair to get cuted-up for his close up)

This one, still cracking me up after 20 years together. The picture on the left? Yes is legit flexing. (Man has been on a health journey this year and apparently needs everyone to see the fierce dedication heehee)
