How do I plan outfits for my session?

Whether you are a fashionista or would rather think about anything else but style, coordinating the wardrobe for you photo session can be a daunting experience. That is where we come in to inspire… just consider us your personal stylists, here to assist every step of the journey!

Miss Adylin ties her four distinct outfits together into one cohesive look for Senior Portraits | pc: StudioBseniors.com

PRO TIP 1. Choose two to three colors to form a nice palette, and stick with them! You can never go wrong with neutrals + a splash of your favorite hue. Let that pop of color unify all of your outfits. Adylin incorporated white and tan in all of her looks, tying them all together.

PRO TIP 2. Layers are everyone's best friend! A great way to showcase personality and flatter your figure, layers allow a flavor of variety. Plus, we are huge fans of texture and movement. Layers photograph beautifully in every season. Jackets, belts, jewelry - the layering options are unlimited. It is the simplest way to add a bit of drama to your outfit!

PRO TIP 3. Accessories, accessories, accessories. Fun and constant pops such as earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets or scarves are nice touches that add to your outfit (bonus points for painted nails!). Adylin wore the same jewelry for all of her looks keeping her theme unified.

PRO TIP 4. Be yourself. Nothing looks better than YOU! Wear what makes you feel confident. Nothing captures You On Your Best Day more than you feeling your best.
