Our Top Three Tips for Camera Ready Outfits

We are here to tell all of our secrets. Seriously, we’re not holding anything back when it comes to sharing the best tricks in the game for creating camera ready outfits for your Senior Portrait Experience. These tips have been gleaned from our years on set working with stylists, magazines, and models. And as professions in posing, we know that we can give you the confidence while you’re on set to feel amazing! But that confidence begins before you even step in front of the camera because you know that you have curated a killer wardrobe for this experience.

Meet Bishop Blanchet High School senior, Peyton! This gorgeous gal was magic in front of the camera, and we are in LOVE with her outfit. | pc: StudioBportraits.com

01. WHEN IT DOUBT, ADD TEXTURE. We love the sheer sleeves of Peyton’s top combined with the distressed denim. By incorporating dynamic textiles, she gave depth to her wardrobe that we believe deserves a round of applause.

02. DRESS FOR YOU. Be intentional to do some research and dress for your body shape. This means using your outfit to create balance among your proportions and accentuate your favorite features! Instagram and Pinterest can be great resources, but be careful not to simply copy trends. Rather, modify them to flatter your unique form!

03. THE DRAMA IS IN THE DETAILS. We are swooning over Peyton’s delicate layered gold necklaces, fun white high tops, and fabulous belt! She dressed head to toe, and it shows *insert clapping and heart eye emojis here*

It’s you on your best day!

And this is your year, seniors! We are ready for you!
