The Gift of Time for Business Professionals | Studio B Portraits

Confessions of a creative soul: I am 100% dependant on routine in order to get anything accomplished. At my best, my creativity thrives when I have a guiding light in the form of deadlines and structure. But when left without a plan, I will get lost in the creative process - having fun with my own thoughts but having nothing to show for it at the end of the day.

Copious amounts of free time (aka lack of routine) will either be the best or the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

When it comes to building my professional brand, there are two possible outcomes during this season in which we have been given the gift of time: 1) I will invest in my business in a way that reignites the WHY behind my professional values and vision, making intentional choices to find my joy and offering an opportunity for others to do the same. Or 2) I will do nothing.

Having time on our hands might actually be the gift that every business person didn’t know we were wishing for this year.

As a freelance writer who works primarily from home, posing for the camera is definitely not something I do every day, but Studio B always puts me at ease. They have perfected the art of teasing the best out of their subjects – most of the time I didn’t even realize I was posing for the camera! The result was a portfolio filled with a mix of professional-looking poses and casual snapshots. The only downside was that I had a hard time picking my favorites!
