Seattle raised + Husky for life, I graduated from the University of Washington and moved to Southern California. Many seasons of palm trees, sunshine and a cool career in marketing, branding + celebrity PR led me to meeting & marrying my husband.

My journey as a professional photographer began with Ford Models Teen & Youth division and fast tracked to the most amazing opportunities shooting for Disney. (For a girl obsessed with old Hollywood glam, Vogue magazine and pop culture… it really could not have been any better.) While my career and passion for all things fashion and photography grew… so did our family.

With another child on the way, we took a leap of faith and moved our expanding family back to Seattle to give birth to our second baby girl and also… Studio B Portraits.

Studio B Portraits opened in the summer of 2006 in a little second floor atelier in Gilman Village. Almost 18 years, another baby and two studio moves later - the dream that I dared to put into the universe became real.

In 2019 we acquired and renovated the studio’s forever home, nestled in the heart of downtown Issaquah on Front Street. While there have been many pinch me moments (magazine covers, high profile projects and dreamy locations) my heart is always happiest each day that I am blessed to drive up to this special place and work with these amazing people.
